Construction

With construction, we’re forced to be a little more vague than usual. Tempur-Pedic doesn’t release many specifics about the composition of its mattresses. They don’t disclose the thickness of layers, and they don’t give details about density, or the way the cover is composed.

So, we’ll sketch in the basics for you according to the information readily available.

Cover

The polyester cover is not removable on the Adapt mattress. If you spill any liquid on the mattress, dry it with a towel then allow to naturally air dry. The cover feels extremely smooth.

Mattress Height

The Adapt is 11” thick making it very slightly higher than most memory foam mattresses.

The ProAdapt and ProBreeze are 12” thick while the LuxeAdapt and LuxeBreeze stand 13” tall. All of these are considered high-profile mattresses making it easier to get in and out of bed.
